My class, Tanemahuta learnt how to make our own cybersmart game.
I really enjoined choosing the tracks for my sprite.
It was hard to make a good sound.
Next time I will make it more challenging.

Dem Bones

We have been learning about the body in tanemahuta. A phew days ago we got a comment from saint mary`s school saying you should try and label the bones so we tried. Why don`t you take a look!!!!!!!!

Our School Production

On Tuesday we did our Makaraka School Production at the war memorial theater my whole family was watching we were practicing we were making just to make that moment look amazing we tried our best!!!

Cross Counrty

Cross Country
On Wednesday the 21st of August we had our Makaraka School cross country. It was at  at the Matthews property .We traveled there on a bus and it took about twenty minutes.

 When we got there we went for a tutorial around our tracks. Mr Milne and Mrs Hannah took us on the tutorial. I couldn't believe I was going to run it. It felt hard when I was walking it .

We got back to where the races got called. We were getting ready well some other people were racing when I was ready and my race got called I walked over to where the race started. I was shaking Mr Milne did some stretches with us. Mr Milne said that he will make a banging sound when we need  to start running. He made the bang I suddenly sprinted as fast as I could I was coming second but I was still sprinting my arms were pumping up and down I was running up the hill and the person that was in first place stopped then someone else wizzed in front I was going as fast as I could. On the way down the hill he was still in front of me. We ran up an incredibly big hill he was still in front of me though we ran along a little pathway  then there was another hill but suddenly he stopped he must've been really tired that's when I passed him, I ran up the hill then I ran round the hole I was feeling so amazed. I started running down the hill I ran to the finnish line I came first place!!! I felt amazed I went to get a sausage, then I went home with my mum and my brother.

About Me

Hi my name is Ella and I go to Makaraka School. I like writing, reading and math, I would also like to improve in writing, reading and math.  My favourite subject is science.  I also like doing  PE because you get fresh air and you get to play games.

I have a mum a dad to brother's two dogs and 1 cat looking forward to science with Ruby and we are doing lightning in a jar and it is going to be fun I am good at reading and math.My favorite food is mandarins watermelon and strawberries.I am seven.

I enjoy reading math and writing also handwriting I also like playing on the bars at lunch time. One of my challenges  is to get all my work finished.I like unicorns and horses.
